JJK Gas Services is a sole trader business operated by Stephen Knight, Gas Safe registered under number 939000, based at 6 Wrightington St, Wigan, WN1 2BX. By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry you agree to these terms.
We provide boiler installation, boiler repair, boiler servicing, central heating, plumbing services and landlord gas safety certificates (CP12) across Wigan and Greater Manchester. All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers only.
All prices quoted are subject to a site survey and may vary based on access, parts required and the complexity of the work. Our standard rates are:
Fixed-price quotes for new boiler installations are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to revise a quote if circumstances change materially from those described at the time of quotation.
Bookings can be made by phone, WhatsApp, email or online form. We ask for reasonable notice to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a £50 administration charge. Emergency callouts cancelled after dispatch of an engineer will be charged at the standard callout rate.
All workmanship carried out by JJK Gas Services is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion. This guarantee covers labour only and does not cover parts, manufacturer defects or damage caused by third parties or circumstances beyond our control. Manufacturer warranties on boilers and components are provided directly by the manufacturer and are subject to their own terms.
Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, cash and card. For new boiler installations we may require a deposit prior to ordering equipment. Finance is available through our partner Kanda, subject to status. JJK Gas Services (FRN: 1010697) is an appointed representative of Koze Group Ltd, a credit broker, not a lender.
JJK Gas Services is fully insured through Simply Business. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We accept no liability for consequential losses, pre-existing faults not identified during the scope of the agreed work, or damage caused by factors outside our control. In no event shall our liability exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the relevant service.
All gas work is carried out in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue work where we believe it would be unsafe to proceed or where we cannot ensure compliance with current regulations. We will notify you in writing of any safety concerns identified during the course of our work.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Financial records are retained for 7 years in line with HMRC requirements. Gas safety records are retained for 2 years minimum in line with Gas Safety Regulations.
